Saritha is a beautiful, sultry and captivating Indian screen goddess. She hails from the Southern part of India and her last known address is Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She is actually a veteran in the film industry in which her participation took prominence from 1978 hitherto.

Sangeetha Mohan is an Indian Malayalam actress from Kerala and is well known for her natural way of acting among the Malayalam Television industry. She is currently active in Malayalam television and has been acting in Malayalam films.^[1]

Biography[edit]

Sangeetha Mohan was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She was born as the youngest daughter to Mr. Gopi Mohan and Mrs. Jayakumari. Her father was a senior accountant in KSRTC and her mother was an Additional Joint Secretary in Police. She has an elder sister, Saritha Mohan,who is an Officer in Agriculture Department.^[2]

Acting career[edit]

She and her sister, Saritha Mohan appeared in an advertisement of Kilimark Umbrella. She made her full-time acting debut in a Malayalam television serial Saumini which was aired on Doordarshan.^[3] She too worked as a television host (anchor) in several celebrity events and T.V. shows. Sangeetha also served as a storywriter in a Malayalam serial Vasthavam. Sangeetha has acted in some popular Malayalam television serials such as Saumini, Jwalayayi and Dhathuputhri. She last acted in a Malayalam film titled Kaviyude Osyath which was released in 2017.^[4][5]

Saritha has featured in over one hundred and forty (140) films in India in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu dialects respectively. It was she who featured regularly in a TV serial entertainment show referred to as Selvi in the year 2005. Saritha’s journey into the make believe world commenced effectively from the period of 1978 to 1989. In actual fact Saritha emanated from her first movie Maro Charithra. The film was based on emotional display that passed a message of love for tradition and of course it was more of a passion thing. Throughout her career she has participated more in Tamil films. She has premiered in various films such as Idi Katha Kaadu, Achamillai Achamillai, Thappu Thalangal, Vandichakkaram,Netrikan, Agni Sakshi, Puthukavithai and Kalyana Agathigal . Her character in the films which she interpreted very well in the film Vandichakkaram in 1980 and the 1984 Achamillai Achamillai gave her the best tamil actress awards. She also featured in many other films of Telugu origin. Also in her kitty are films like Sujatha (1980) cancer relater film, Julie Ganapathi (2005). She also worked as a voice over actress. In her family life, she got married to a fellow in the make believe profession named Mukesh in September 2nd 1988 and were blessed with two children named Shravan and Tejas Shravan. In 2007 their relationship ran sour and they got divorced, although information at our disposal is that one of the couple in person of Saritha herself withdrew the suit later and she is the one in custody of the product of the marriage.
