Non-duelist

  • Martha is able to reset a character's hearts so the player can re-view their storyline, or to change them into an alternate character (like Duel Academy Akiza), and also allow you to edit your Partner's Deck before you have earned the right to do it by paying 10,000 DP.
  • Blister is able to give the player information on where main characters are for several days, as well as letting the player put a tracer on a minor duelist character, so he can find them in the city to partner up with them.
  • Rudolph Heitmann is able to give the player alternate style cards.
  • Stephanie gives the player a drink at 'Cafe la Geen' that sometimes pleases his partner and increases his hearts. She blushes whenever the player visits while partnered with Jack Atlas.
  • Zora will randomly give you something she found, usually an item or 200 DP, sometimes telling them to use it to help Yusei.
  • The MC is randomly hiding in one area on the map, and changes location constantly. If you manage to find him, he can give you a prize of rare cards, a lot of DP, gift items, or increase a partner's Heart meter.
  • Kurumizawa works in the shop.
  • The Familiar of Red Nova can trigger an event at night by the crater. By visiting him with your partner, you can join the 'night tournament', which is divided into 4 challenges - all involving Tag Duels. By clearing one of them, the next one is unlocked. Once all the challenges are completed, the player receives one copy of each Egyptian God.

  • Update: Tag Force 6 is complete, a list of the files can be found here; next one is Forum:Tag Force 5 Image Project.
Video game images seem to be popular, however, not many people are uploading them (probably due to not being able to have access to them). So I'm starting a page which includes a guide on adding them properly, a way to track progress and links to batches of images for upload. This allows for many users to contribute on this and get this done once and for all.
Basically, the images are numbered, and you post which section you will do. A guide to adding them properly can be found below. Ignoring one of the major steps will be annoying to clean up and will hinder the progress, so please do all 3 of the main steps.
The numbered image batch can be found after reading the guide.
Once this is complete, I'll make a page which contains a list of the images and a link to a batch download, then we can move on to TF05.

Short Version

  • 1) Proper file name, per Project:Image policy.
  • 2) Licensing
  • 3) Adding it properly

Long Version

  • 1) Proper file name, per Project:Image policy.
Since this is all about TF06, it's just
  • Common mistakes:
Only certain symbols are omitted, not all.
A common mistake is that the comma (,) is kept,
whereas the apostrophe ('), period (.) and dash (-) are not kept.
Spaces ( ) are also omitted.
The case of the name is the same as the case on the card.
For video game images: There is no dash between the 'name' and VG (nameVG-Game-LN.png)
  • Examples:
Blackwing - Jetstream the Blue Sky = BlackwingJetstreamtheBlueSkyVG-TF06-JP.png
T.G. Striker = TGStrikerVG-TF06-JP.png
Shien's Dojo = ShiensDojoVG-TF06-JP.png
Sandaion, the Time Lord = Sandaion,theTimeLordVG-TF06-JP.png
  • 2) Licensing
Just copy paste that in the summary on the upload page, then change 'name' to the actual name of the card (not the name of the image file).
Also, if the card is not available in the OCG, then add
after the licensing. This category step may be left out for now and added later.
Example: 1.
  • 3) Adding it properly
Go to the Card Gallery page for the card, then edit the page with the edit button (do not use the add an image to this gallery button)
If {{GalleryHeader lang=jp set=Video games}} does not exist on the page, add:
If {{GalleryHeader lang=jp set=Video games}} already exists, add:
in the appropriate place.
If the Card Gallery page itself has not been made yet, create the page with:
(You may add the actual card to the page as well if you feel like it, but it can be added later).
If an image under the correct name already exists, then skip over it (of course)
If an image is there, but has the wrong file name, then.. look into Template:Rename.

Steps

(This is just the steps in the order of how I add these images, and is what I think is the fastest method.)
Also note that if you don't know the name for an image, you can go to Google Images and drag/drop the image into the search.
  • 1) Go to the Card Gallery page and edit it (do not use the add an image to this gallery button).
  • 2) in the source, add the image code and change 'name' to the correct name.
  • 3) click 'Preview' and scroll down to the image, it should be a red link, middle click on it to open it in a new tab.
  • 4) on the new tab, 'Browse' for the Source filename, add the Licensing in the Summary. (this method should automatically add the name to Destination filename)
  • 5) Click 'Upload file', once it's uploaded, close the tab.
  • 6) You should be back on the Card Gallery page, click 'Publish'.
Tag force 6 gamefaqs

Stuff, Comments, Discussion, etc.

So.. onto the section about the actual images. Part 1 Contains images 001 to 268, these have been accounted for.
Part 2 containing 269 to 400 can be found here.
Part 3 (last part) containing 401 to 586 (yea, not 584, I might have doubled up on 2 of them or included 2 older ones).
Once it's done, we can go onto Tag Force 5 images.
Also, if you happen to have a bunch that isn't from this provided file, you can upload them, all it means is that when someone goes over that number, they can skip it.
I've decided to use Mediafire over Megaupload because Mediafire does not delete files as long as they are being downloaded OR if the attached account is being accessed. Also, 4 notification emails are given before deletion if neither of the two are done. Megaupload deletes after 90 days of last download. Or at least that's what their FAQ page says.

As a quick note, number 320 in your 'Part 2' download is Diffusion Wave-Motion, which is an old card that was in Tag Force 5 as well. I've downloaded your Part 2 files, have renamed them on my computer to the name Wikia uses, and will start uploading when Wikia's main database is back up. For anyone else who's going to be helping out, here's the list of categories of cards that are new to Tag Force 6.
-Storm of Ragnarok (+80)
-Extreme Victory (+80; seven of the T.G. monsters have alternate art available in Tag Force 5. I will end up uploading both)
-Generation Force (+80)
-Photon Shockwave (+80)
-Duel Terminal - Judgment of Omega!! (+30)
-Duel Terminal - Xyz Startup!! (+30)
-Extra Pack Volume 4 (+40)
All the rest are Promo cards, or small sets of cards such as the new cards in the Yusei 3 and Crow Duelist Packs, Structure Decks 20 and 21, and Starter Deck 2011. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 16:03, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
..holy..
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 19:34, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
Hehe, I knew you of all people would notice this :) I'm in the process of uploading a bunch now, my profile page is going to be my progress file of what I have and have not uploaded so far. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 19:37, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
Excluding random promos, I'm missing 201 named cards so far (jeez, surprised by that number), but have 419 named right now. I hope Falzar can upload the rest of the TF6 cards to Mediafire soon ^^
Also, would you mind uploading Part 1 sometime, too? (I mean, Falzar uploads the images for Part 1 in a file to mediafire)
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 20:33, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
@ AEtherchild
You should probably skip anything that is available in previous games, since TG06 quality was decreased. Part 1 are just the files that are already uploaded (and a small bunch which I have already set up to upload soon).
I've noticed that you're adding the Licensing separately, so in case you missed it, you can add the Licensing in the summary of the upload page and it'll transfer to the page. But if you find adding it separately faster, then by all means continue.
Also, out of curiosity, how many TF05s do you have?
@ Behemothbear
At this rate, it will be soon.
I have 3 assignments due by tonight, so I should go for now. I'll upload some tomorrow and maybe part 3 as well.
-Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 22:47, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I've been skipping anything available in older games, going for only Tag Force 6 exclusives. I've uploaded what I have from Storm of Ragnarok, Duel Terminals 11 and 12, and Extra Pack Volume 4, about to do the 28 from Extreme Victory. My profile page is my progress box. I wasn't sure if adding the licensing through the summary box would work properly, I'd forgotten to test it ^_^ As for TF5s.. I've got a grand total of 5,158 images from Tag Force 5 and previous, sorted by expansion set. As far as I know all 4,727 cards are there, with all alternate artworks and TCG/OCG artworks. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 22:54, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
I should elaborate on the question; do you know how many TF05 exclusives (ignoring TF06) do you have. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 22:58, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
If I recall correctly, there's 664. I have them sorted by card set, not game, so I can't check as easily as I wish. IIRC there's 562 Tag Force 4 exclusives if you're wondering. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 23:04, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
Just realised I'm thinking cards and not actual artworks. I'll need to double-check to find out how many TF4 and TF5-exclusive images there are, but those numbers should be right (give or take 1 or 2) for actual cards. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 23:07, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
Hoping you upload part 3 soon, Falzar. Right now I have 478 cards from Tag Force 6 named, and Part 3 should finish it :D
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 23:40, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
You have probably guessed by my 300+ edits today that if you did happen to upload Part 3 I'd get them onto the Wikia fairly quickly. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 00:13, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure if any of you guys know this already or not, but Special:MultipleUpload allows you to upload up to ten images simultaneously, which should speed up your progress at least a bit. ;) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 01:23, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
The issue with that is that you can't add different names to the Licensing, so you have to go back again and change each one. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 01:26, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
Unholy amounts of indents on this message xD Let's review so far. I've uploaded and galleried 134 images. There's at least 324 done (I've not checked Photon Shockwave or any small or promo sets yet). Good progress so far? I'm heading off for a bit, could I request that you upload and link your Part 3 folder? I'm hoping to finish the rest of the Tag Force 6 images tomorrow. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 01:45, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
Close enough, part 3 link added, there's about 40 from part 1 which I'll upload when as soon as I get all this other work done (2 assignments down, 1 to go.. 1 unstarted one.. and it's maths, other 2 were mostly done already). So, yea, by tomorrow. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 01:59, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
Just making a new, cleaner break line for progress; so many indents :V
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 02:41, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
Gah, was afraid it would happen, and it did. Falzar, can you upload Part 1, please? Several cards are still missing from my list, and are neither on here or on the other Japanese site. I know you're gonna upload the rest, but I'd like to have all the arts you collected together, if ok.
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 10:05, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity Behemoth, which ones are you missing now? I'm back on and have a few hours spare so I'll upload the rest of what I've got now - I've not renamed the images in my Part 3 folder yet so will take a while to start. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 11:10, October 21, 2011 (UTC)

Tag Force 6 English

You seem to have forgotten about Category:Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime and Video Game Only Card Images; but it's all good, since you uploaded them in a group so I can quickly fix them all easily. All 63 TF06 Anime Exclusives have now been tagged by the category. 16 images and part 1 should be complete. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 13:39, October 21, 2011 (UTC)

Yu Gi Oh Tag Force 6 Rom

Could you still please upload Part 1 in one file? Also, I'm getting script errors when I try to load the edit page.
Also, what I'm missing at the moment: http://pastebin.com/DYGVceqQ
EDIT - forgot to add to the list 2 more cards:
YS11-EN021 Blustering Winds
YF02-JP001 Catapult Warrior
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 18:11, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
That last lot from part 1 covered the sets.
I'm not going to waste 130mb just to upload part 1, when it will all be put into 1 file at the end of this.
-Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 23:28, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
The reason I wanted only those is because I don't have a clue if I'm missing any promos or not, or any other anime images. When will you be uploading them all in one, single file? Also as far as uploading them to Photobucket, I will wait until Photon Shockwave is out in the US.
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 04:09, October 23, 2011 (UTC)
Each one of the 521 new OCG/TCG cards in Tag Force 6 has its OCG artwork on the Wikia now, as well as the 63 new anime-exclusives having their in-game art. I'm not able to obtain card artworks myself, so getting the TCG art of cards that have differences (such as Curse of the Circle) is beyond my capabilities. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 00:16, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
My card art count is 606 cards, 64 anime-exclusive. You cannot get any TCG arts of the newly-introduced cards in Tag Force 5 or 6 as of yet.

I wasn't expecting this to be completed so quickly, thanks.
I've updated the list and it's on 602 (I was expecting 592), any ideas?
Also, I should probably make it into 2 files instead of 1 for the image pack.

List of files and batch is available here.
Forum:Tag Force 5 Image Project for those who can continue. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 06:32, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
Gah, looking through my files, and a few shouldn't have belonged (7 Vylon, Junk Blader) :/ - Card total is now 598.
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 08:19, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
Junk Blader's in my TF05 folder, but not my TF06 folder, so that is one. But the Vylons should be correct, which 7 exactly? -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 11:22, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

These (or similar) images are in my Tag Force 5 folder as well; just want confirmation that those should be TF05s. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 11:59, October 24, 2011 (UTC)
These images were in my TF06 folder, but not in my TF05 folder, just uploaded these:

File:UtopianAuraVG-TF06-JP.png
File:Ceruli,GuruofDarkWorldVG-TF06-JP.png
File:FrozenFitzgeraldVG-TF06-JP.png (Other artwork)
Also, can you check if Z-ONE, Release Restraint, Machina Cannon, Imitation, Black Feather Beacon, Diving Exploder and Destroyed Future are in TF05?

You don't happen to have a text version of that do you? (or AEtherchild's list of TF06 images not in TF05 would turn out to be useful afterall). I can convert it and compare it to the list of images and tell it to say which ones are missing/extra. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 11:54, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

Although this forum was made with card images in mind, would it be possible to get all the characters' ending scenes, without too much difficulty? 'Same with Tag Force 5 for the portal pages. -- Deltaneos (talk) 20:54, October 24, 2011 (UTC)

Those should all be available here aren't they?
-Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 11:54, October 25, 2011 (UTC)

TF06-JPB01 Star Bright Dragon

FET-EN012 - Maji-Gire Panda (OCG)

Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 22:28, October 27, 2011 (UTC)

I'm pretty busy myself, so I don't mind the wait.
I'll check those when I get back home, but just looking at it, wouldn't that increase the number even more? -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 01:54, October 28, 2011 (UTC)
When you remove the ones from previous games, the number is increased by 4, 5 if you want to add Gyaku-Gire. But I don't really know which game Panda came from. All I know is that I didn't have the art for it last year or years prior.
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 05:44, October 28, 2011 (UTC)
Not that I know anything about it, but Flaming Eternity was released before any of the Tag Force games, so Maji-Gire may have been in the series since the first one. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 05:56, October 28, 2011 (UTC)
Right, but it's the first time I've seen the original OCG art; before, the only HQ pics people posted of it was the edited TCG art.

Tag force 6 gamefaqs
594 is now expected, since Terror Byte had an AA and I'll upload a 2nd version of the loading gif. But there's still 7 extra.
Made my own list based on the info at User:AEtherchild; and I think I found the problem. Which 7 don't belong?
(btw, I don't have File:InfluenceDragonVG-TF06-JP.png)
VE02-JP002 Vylon Ohm - should be TF05
MOV2-JP001 Malefic Red-Eyes B. Dragon - should be TF05
WJMP-JP014 Malefic Blue-Eyes White Dragon - should be TF05
Grand Core - Isn't it a different artwork? so stay in TF06
-Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 13:25, October 28, 2011 (UTC)
Oh WTF, why does Grand Core have a new art? XD
Grand Core removed from my list.
Behemothbear (talk • contribs) 18:27, October 28, 2011 (UTC)
I'd only just noticed that I'd not been keeping track of this page. As for the cards that don't belong in that list, I'm not too sure - I know that Star Bright Dragon, Sonic Warrior, Influence Dragon and Crimson Blader are downloadable content and so don't belong in the 584 in-game new cards. Buster Blaster, T.G. Striker, T.G. Cyber Magician, T.G. Rush Rhino, T.G. Warwolf, T.G. Wonder Magician, T.G. Power Gladiator and T.G. Halberd Cannon were all available in Tag Force 5 as anime-exclusives. I'll upload Influence Dragon's image shortly, I've got its artwork and didn't notice it wasn't on Wiki yet. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 02:15, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
Also, judging by a FAQ I've just read on GameFAQs, it seems Maji-Gire Panda was in the first Tag Force game. AEtherchild (talk • contribs) 02:21, November 1, 2011 (UTC)
About this image.
It says:
Which translates to something like this:
TF5 contains: 4727 TF6 contains: 5310
黑暗船母 OCG card is from TF5 list: -1
Original card 大地之核换 card image: +1
Double Computer Beast image: +1
TF5 Original card images used for T.G. monsters and gunner for OCG card image: 7 + 1 = +8
Guru of Dark World OCG card image: +1
Then the new card images are: 5310-4727-1+1+1+8+1=293
Album in addition to the 狗束解除, a total of 594 images
In total, I did one extra card image
Non-translated parts should be card names.
Also, I'll move the Photon Shockwave images to the correct names after ALL the official TCG names are confirmed. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 04:12, November 6, 2011 (UTC)
All moved and updated batch.
Guess we have 2 extra images, as long as there aren't any new ones missing, it shouldn't be a problem. -Falzar FZ- (talk page useful stuff) 06:26, November 11, 2011 (UTC)
